What RP Specs is, the work it covers and the outputs it prepares.
RP Specs is a browser-based workspace for architectural ironmongery and hardware specification teams. It keeps customer and project context, door schedules, hardware sets, master-key systems, BOQs, commercial options, submittals and issued records around the same project.
It supports project intake, reusable product catalogues, schedule and door coordination, hardware sets, master-key planning, consolidated quantities, commercial options, technical submittals, sample boards and controlled project issues.
RP Specs can produce Hardware Set Schedules and BOQs as PDF or Excel files, selected master-key registers and matrices as PDF or Excel files, packing-list PDFs and QR labels, assembled submittal PDFs, and protected specification snapshots with a reference, revision, recipient, copy number and fingerprint.
How source information becomes coordinated project records and selected outputs.
Yes. RP Specs reads XLSX, XLS, CSV and JSON schedules. You map the source columns, review row-level validation findings and choose how existing doors should be handled before applying the import.
Errors must be resolved before the schedule can be applied. Existing doors can be updated, skipped or rejected; the validated import is applied as one operation, so it succeeds together or leaves the live schedule unchanged.
Yes. Teams can create hardware sets and door records manually, then add shared specifications and catalogue items inside the project.
The Doors Register keeps the project's door identity. Eligible master-key doors can link to one opening per physical door row, while hardware and master-key quantities feed the consolidated BOQ, pricing and selected project outputs.
Company access, private files, roles and focused external review.
Each subscribing company uses its own workspace. Owners and administrators invite team members within the plan's seat limit and assign roles for administration, editing, review or view-only access.
Workspace records and private files are scoped by authenticated membership and workspace-aware database and storage policies. Authorized RP Specs platform administrators retain access for support and administration.
No. An issued submittal package or submitted sample board can be shared through an expiring, revocable review link. The link exposes only the captured review material and included PDFs; it does not create full workspace membership.
RP Specs does not currently publish ISO, SOC 2, data-residency or service-level certification claims. Discuss production security, backup, recovery and enterprise requirements with RP Solutions before subscribing.
Plans, trial information, Stripe billing, capacity and project currency.
The Pricing page is the source of truth. USD amounts and self-service checkout appear only when the RP Specs catalogue and matching Stripe Price records are ready. If pricing is shown as pending, request plan details from RP Solutions.
Trial availability and duration are set per active plan. When self-service signup is available, the signup page shows the exact trial length and any payment-method requirement; do not assume a fixed trial period.
For Stripe-connected subscriptions, a workspace owner or administrator can use Stripe's hosted portal to update billing details, access invoices or cancel renewal. Plan and billing-interval changes are coordinated with RP Solutions; manual and complimentary subscriptions are managed directly.
Supported Stripe-connected workspaces can add user seats and 10 GB storage packs. An owner or administrator reviews Stripe's prorated adjustment before applying a change. Other subscription types should contact RP Solutions.
No. Project pricing, BOQs and documents use the company country and currency configured in RP Specs. For Stripe-connected plans, subscription charges use the currency shown in the active Pricing catalogue and Stripe checkout.
